About Me

A born and bred Londoner. I started working on the web in 2009 and have been on a continuous journey of learning and nurturing my passion ever since.

I have a tremendous amount of dedication in what I do and am grateful to be part of such an evolving and talented industry. My core talents lie in creatively solving problems using intuitive design patterns and simple solutions. When designing or building experiences I always take a mobile first approach - beginning considerations with the smallest viewport size, the poorest possible network conditions and the least competent user groups helps to mould a much more usable and accessible product.

Throughout my career, I’ve been responsible for designing and building most of my web projects thus I design with the intuition of a front end developer. Caring about scalability, modularity, performance and accessibility while still adhering to a strict brand focus and a user centric mentality. This also lends to a strong communication and understanding between myself and the core front end development team(s).

Other passions and pursuits

Images of me on various trips

As well as designing, my other main passion is travelling. I tend to go away at least once a year to somewhere I’ve never been - be it on a challenge or relaxing type of trip. For example, to kick off 2016 (and turning 30 years old) I spent nearly 2 months backpacking around Thailand. And last July I visited Tanzania to hike for 5 days to the roof of Africa, Kilimanjaro.

I’m also big music lover, frequently visiting gigs and festivals - I spend probably 80% of my day with music playing in the background. Despite spending most of my working time at a desk I try and live a healthy and active life - a regular gym goer and participate in events such as Tough Mudder.

Thanks for popping by..
